Experience & Innovation

Concurrent Technologies designs a range of high performance Intel® processor boards, switches, networking, storage and software products for use in embedded solutions. We manufacture all our board products in our Colchester, UK based factory to meet the highest level of inspection standards for long life-cycle, reliable operation. Concurrent Technologies' products are used by many of the world’s leading defense integrators and are designed to be operated in a range of temperatures and environments from benign to extreme rugged.

High Performance Secure Solutions

Concurrent Technologies specialize in developing and manufacturing very long life-cycle embedded products for use in a wide range of military applications in potentially extreme and challenging environmental conditions.

Typical applications include:

  • Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR)
  • Command, Control , Communications , Compute (C4)
  • RADAR
  • LIDAR
  • Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
  • Electronic Intelligence (ELINT)
  • Simulation
  • Guidance

VPX is the de facto form factor for new military and aerospace applications enabling the creation of high performance solutions within a relatively compact space envelope.

VPX – TR H4x/3sd-RCx

TR H4x/3sd-RCx is the first processor board from Concurrent Technologies with a 40G Ethernet data plane connection, providing a significant interconnect performance boost. It has a front panel graphics and USB connection for ease of setup and operates from a single +12V power rail to simplify the creation of system level solutions. By default, TR H4x/3sd-RCx is fitted with a 12-core Intel® Xeon® processor D-1559 and 64GB of soldered down DDR4 memory making it suitable for workload consolidation tasks in highly challenging environment.

Key Features:

  • Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR)
  • Command, Control , Communications , Compute (C4)
  • RADAR
  • LIDAR
  • Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
  • Electronic Intelligence (ELINT)
  • Simulation
  • Guidance

VPX – TR E8x/msd

TR E8x/msd is the first processor board from Concurrent Technologies based on the Intel® Xeon® E-2200 processor family just launched by Intel for use in long life-cycle embedded applications. TR E8x/msd is available with a 6-core Intel Xeon E-2276ME processor running at 2.8 GHz with up to 32 GB of soldered down DDR4 memory and flexible PCI Express (PCIe) configuration, allowing connection to several peripheral boards without a PCIe switch.

Key Features:

  • 3U VPX Processor board
  • Based on 6-core Intel Xeon E-2200 processor
  • Enhanced security features as standard
  • Optional XMC or front panel I/O module
  • Optional solid state disk module
