FIRING CONTROL SYSTEM
In partnership with FN Herstal, the AFS® OEM Ballistic Module was integrated into the FN Elity® Ballistic Calculator, providing a fast and reliable solution that increases the hit probability of any sharpshooter and long range sniper.
An Android software was also developped to allow for quick configurations and synchronization of the device.
FUTURE SOLDIER SYSTEM
The AFS® was selected by the French Army, in partnership with Safran Electronics & Defense, as the software to be embedded in the Scorpion Dismounted Soldier Combat Information System(SICS-D).
Going forward, the snipers will be equiped with a technology that will increase their hit probability while being fully integrated within their future soldier system.
LASER RANGE FINDER
In collaboration with Newcon Optik, bidirectional communication was developped between the AFS® Android software and Newcon's Laser Range Finders. This allows users to obtain the AFS® calculated scope adjustements directly through the LRF display, increasing hit probability while maintaining situationnal awareness at all times.
GUNSHOT DETECTION SYSTEM
The AFS® software, linked with the Metravib Defence PEARL Gunshot Detection System, provides a complete counter sniper solution.
Between situationnal awareness, localization of threaths and sniper team protection, the AFS® provides an increase in hit probability through real-time scope adjustment upon shot detection.
